Ranks and permissions
A player's displayed rank is their highest-weight active grant, or default. Permissions combine the default rank and all active grants.

Negative permissions start with a dash, for example -essentials.fly; explicit denies win inside Hydrogen. Other permissions plugins can influence the final result.
Rank flags currently function as stored labels, not active policy enforcement. Rank-management nodes grant powerful authority and should only be assigned to trusted administrators.
